Thanks to Kevin, I learned that I will no longer be eligible for the armed forces starting January 1, 2006--the year that I turn 26. I will be too old. Sometimes getting old isn't half bad...

I'm excited to participate in the Summer School on Wireless Sensor Networks and Smart Objects. Should be a good time at Schloss Dagstuhl, Germany...

Maybe I shouldn't admit this, but I watch the very popular TV show called "Cheaters". I have noticed, while watching Cheaters, that there is a common behavior that seems to recur. It goes something like this:
Victim: Why are you cheating on me?
Cheater: I'm not cheating on you
Victim: They have you on tape (...)'ing this guy!
Cheater: Why couldn't you do this in private?!
Victim: What's wrong with you?
Cheater: This isn't your problem.
Cheater: Why did you have to bring these cameras in here?
Basically, these folks who have been caught on tape cheating are more concerned with their "image" of being exposed on TV. Ironically they don't care about the grainy "Paris Hilton"-style nightvision video of them having sex, instead they care about the cameras recording their boyfriend finding out and confronting them about being promiscuous. I find this whole thing very, very, very amusing.
ps: often they refer to this as "I can't believe you're spying on me!"
